Are you in the early stages of your dissertation? Would you like some guidance and feedback as you begin the process of writing? If you are a Ph.D. candidate and answered yes to the previous questions, consider attending a WVU Writing Center, Dissertation Boot Camp. Boot Camps will take place in May and July. The first camp will be held on May 5 through May 9 and the second on July 7 thru July 11. Participants will meet Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (with one hour given for lunch). Each day will be divided into three parts: 1) Topics Based Presentations; 2) Unstructured Writing Time; and 3) Workshopping.

Day 3: The Lit Review
Day 4: Managing Research
Day 5: Next Steps in Dissertation Completion
